The ad that I am using clearly uses the Appeal of Pathos. The cigarette smoke forming into a gun shows the viewer of the add that smoking is like performing suicide. The lighting of the room even makes the person in the ad look innocent making you think what if that were one of your family members. Then the phrase at the bottom "Kill a Cigarette and save a life" makes the viewer fell sympathetic towards smokers making them want to help them.

Nice Job, One other thing that I can see is that when he smokes, the smoke creates a gun. This can mean a few things: Suicide because the gun is facing him or death. I think the gun resembles death, just like the cigarette. The other reason they chose a gun is because once you start smoking it is hard to stop just like a gun. When the trigger is pulled, it is hard or almost impossible to dodge the bullet. I think this ad did well by choosing a gun because if they would have chosen a plastic bag, it wouldn't carry the same message. Yes, plastic bags kill but they dont have the force of a gun. Like I said before, good job Re'John.
