The picture I found was about the stereotype that men are supposed to work outdoors and women are supposed to work indoors. In the picture this is shown as the men being portrayed as outdoor tools such as the hammer and the women being portrayed as indoor kitchen utensil's such as the fork. This stereotype is used by many sexist men. It was promoted during the 1st world war when men were called upon to go to war and women were told to stay at home and watch the children.To conclude I do not support these types of stereotypes and I am glad that stereotypes like this have been forgotten by many individuals. As an example many women are now excelling in outdoor careers like carpentry, construction, and many others. 

Candy Battle

     Starbursts are the best candy because they provide the consumers with many different flavored candies. They also create and intense flavorful experience in your mouth, and lastly you get all this for a very cheap price.

            

     Starbursts supply each consumer with a normal pack of candy containing 42 Starbursts. There are four main flavors of Starbursts, orange,strawberry,lemon, and my favorite cherry, these are only the main ones and there are other flavors to be bought including other fruit such as pineapple, and watermelon.

    Another reason Starbursts dominates their competition is the the intense flavors packed into each and every piece of candy.This taste stays with the consumer throughout the whole pack providing them with a mix of the similar taste to real tropical fruit.

   The price of a normal bag of Starbursts is around $2-$3 dollars much cheaper than most companies, and this investment provides you with and experience of the true taste of many fruit sure to bring a smile to your face.

   M and M's thinks their a better company because they supposedly make you happy but this is just a opinion, they also say their candy isn't stick but if you leave that bag of M and M's in the car it will melt and definitely become sticky. Lastly their claims of real chocolate being used is true but the eating of chocolate has been proven to rotten teeth.   

   In conclusion Starbursts is better than M and M's because they have more than just one flavor, every piece of candy is packed with intense flavors and Starbursts can be bought for a cheaper price than M and M's.

English 1 minute Persuasive Paragraph

         Why Rosetta Stone should replace MFL classes

         Rosetta Stone should replace MFL classes because it is cheaper,  it provides a wider variety of languages and it is a good investment for the school. The average cost of MFL text books is around $200 while Rosetta Stone is the same price and it can be used by everyone. It also has a variety of about 30 languages. Lastly Rosetta Stone can help save are school thousands of dollars by not having to pay the MFL teachers because we wouldnt need them.

The ad that I am using clearly uses the Appeal of Pathos. The cigarette smoke forming into a gun shows the viewer of the add that smoking is like performing suicide. The lighting of the room even makes the person in the ad look innocent making you think what if that were one of your family members. Then the phrase at the bottom "Kill a Cigarette and save a life" makes the viewer fell sympathetic towards smokers making them want to help them.
